From Craftsman to Company

Cardenas Builders started with Crescencio Cardenas: 30+ years in construction, an estimated 1,000+ homes framed, and hands-on work on apartments, shopping centers, restaurants, and hotels.

His son Imanol grew up on those job sites and built that experience into a licensed company. Same standard, now with the structure to carry it further.

Common Questions

Our core service area covers six counties around Nashville and Clarksville, where we build most often.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Cardenas Builders LLC holds a Tennessee contractor license (BC-A #83907) and carries general liability insurance.

What areas do you serve?

Cheatham, Robertson, Montgomery, Davidson, Sumner, and Williamson counties are our core. We also take select projects across Tennessee and Southern Kentucky.

Can you build on my land?

Yes, including rural and agricultural lots. We handle clearing, grading, and site prep before the build starts.

Do I need my own house plans?

No. Bring plans from your architect or designer, or start from a library of proven plans and adjust them to fit. If your project needs an engineer, we bring in one we trust.

Do you handle permits?

Yes. We pull permits and schedule inspections with whichever county or city your project falls under.

How long does a custom home take?

It depends on size, design, permitting, and weather. Most custom homes take several months to about a year from permit to move-in, and we'll walk you through a realistic timeline once we know your plans.

How does pricing work?

Every project is priced from your plans, site, and finishes, so we estimate after a walkthrough instead of quoting by the square foot over the phone. You'll get a clear starting estimate, and we refine it together as your plans get settled.
